Koji is a director and principal with Helios Consulting, Inc. He has over 13 years of experience providing valuation and financial advisory services to firms in a wide variety of industries. His diverse financial advisory experience includes valuation studies of businesses, private equity investments, intellectual property, intangible and tangible (financial) assets for a variety of purposes, including financial reporting (ASC 820, 805, 350, 360, 718, and 852), tax reporting (trust and estate tax planning, vertical slice/carried interest valuations, IRC 409A, IRC 170, and tax restructuring), mergers and acquisition planning and support, litigation support, and strategic corporate planning. He has also provided financial modeling and analytics services to support his clients’ financial planning and analysis needs. While contributing to the leadership of RSM’s West Region valuation services practice, Koji took a leading role in reviewing hundreds of third-party valuations for the firm’s audit clientele.

Past and current clients range in size from private, early-stage companies to publicly-traded Fortune 500 companies operating domestically and internationally, as well as venture capital and private equity firms. His industry experience spans the following industries: consumer and industrial products, financial services, agriculture, business and professional services, healthcare, software, and technology. Koji has been involved in financial reporting matters for company and transaction values ranging from less than $1 million to over $15 billion.

Prior to joining Helios Consulting, Koji held leadership roles within nationally recognized valuation firms providing business valuation services, including RSM US LLP, Management Planning, Inc., and Trugman Valuation Associates, Inc.
